Some examples of our commitment to the environment include mother liquor recycling, product waste reduction, drum recycling, LED replacement lighting, continuous wastewater treatment, paper and aluminum recycling, electronic documentation and archiving, gravity-fed processes to reduce energy consumption, and video conferencing when possible to minimize our carbon footprint. In addition, for some product lines, unpainted drums are used.
We are committed to a strong safety program that protects our staff, property and the public. Commitment to health and safety is an integral part of who we are. Management requires all employees to participate in our safety program and provides proper equipment, training and procedures. Employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely and, wherever possible, improving safety measures. An injury and accident-free workplace is our goal. This is accomplished by adhering to the safety policy and conforming to all governmental safety regulations.
