Zeochem to Acquire SiliCycle Inc., Expanding Portfolio of High-Value Chromatography Gels

Perlen, July 1, 2025 – Zeochem, the Chemistry Division of the CPH Group, has signed an agreement to acquire the substantial assets of SiliCycle Inc., a Canadian-based company specializing in high-performance chromatography gels for the pharmaceutical industry. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025.

Headquartered in Canada, SiliCycle is recognized globally for its expertise in developing, manufacturing, and distributing derivatized chromatography gels used in complex separation processes—particularly in pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotech applications. The company generated CAD 16 million in revenue in 2024 and employs approximately 60 people.

This strategic acquisition will expand Zeochem’s product offering in the fast-growing chromatography sector, enhancing our capabilities in liquid chromatography used in R&D, process chemistry, and active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production.

“The acquisition of SiliCycle is a significant step forward in executing our global growth strategy,” said Dr. Alois Waldburg-Zeil, CEO of the CPH Group and Head of the Chemistry Division. “SiliCycle’s high-value products and expertise complement our existing portfolio and open new opportunities for collaboration across production and global distribution.”

Once integrated, SiliCycle will operate as part of Zeochem, strengthening our global footprint and bringing the total number of CPH Group sites to 15 worldwide.
