Leading with Purpose: Zeochem Louisville Attends 2026 LeadingBetter™ Summit

Last week, a few members of the Zeochem team had the chance to attend the 2026 LeadingBetter™ Summit in Louisville, Kentucky—a full day dedicated to practical, real-world leadership development.

What made the experience stand out right away was how interactive it felt. This wasn’t just a sit-back-and-listen kind of event. Between the keynotes, breakout sessions, and hands-on group work, there were plenty of opportunities to jump into discussions, share ideas, and hear how others are approaching similar challenges.

Throughout the day, a few themes really stuck with us. There was a strong focus on leading with emotional intelligence (EQ)—being more aware, empathetic, and intentional in how we communicate and lead. Story-driven leadership was another big one, especially when it comes to connecting with teams in a way that actually resonates. And, of course, there was a lot of conversation around navigating change—something every organization is dealing with in one way or another.

But honestly, some of the most valuable moments came in between sessions—those side conversations, shared experiences, and a few “ah-ha” moments that made you stop and think, we should be doing more of that.

We came back with fresh perspectives and a handful of ideas we’re already starting to put into practice.

At Zeochem, we know that investing in our people matters. Opportunities like the LeadingBetter™ Summit give our team the chance to step away from the day-to-day, learn something new, and bring that energy and those ideas back with them.
